Amorphous solids, are those solids in which the constituent particels mat have a short range order but do not have a long range order. They have irregular shapes and are isotroic in nature. They do not undergo a clean clevage.They do not have share melting points or definite heats of fusion.
Examples. Glass, rubber and plastics.
