Non- cyclic photophorylation occurs in granum portion of chloroplast. It is an association of photosystem -I and II. In this process . Electrons continuously flow from water to PS-II to PS-I and to find electron acceptor ,i.e., NADP. In this process. ATP is formed from ADP and `O_2` is also evolved.
