Prove tht the normals to the planes `4x+11y+2z+3=0` and `3x-2y+5z=8` are perpendicular to each other.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

`vecn_(1)=(4hati+11hatj+2hatk)` and `vecn_(2)=(3hati-2hatj+5hatk)`.
`therefore vecn_(1).vecn_(2)=(4 xx 3) + 11xx (-2) + 2 xx 5=0`.
Hence, `vecn_(1) bot vecn_(2)`.
