Current through the voltmeter,
`l_(g)=2/300A=2/300xx1000mA`
`=20/3mA`
`l_(g)=6.67mA`
As range of ammeter cannot be decreased but can be increased only, therefore the instrument cannot be converted to measure the range `1mA`.
