Text Solution

The correct Answer is:
12 jugs of water.

The radius of the conical water jug (r ) = 3.5 cm
its height (h) = 10 cm
The radius of the cylindrical water pot `(r_1) = 7 cm`
its height `(h_1)` = 10 cm.
Number of jugs of water that cylindrical pot can hold
`=("Volume of cylindrical water pot")/("Volume of conical water jug")`
`=(pir_1^2h_1)/(1/3pir^2h)`
`= (7 xx 7xx 10)/(1/3xx3.5xx3.5xx10)`
`=(7xx7xx3)/(3.5xx3.5)=2xx2xx3 = 12`
