A car of mass kg rounds a curve of radius 250 m at 90 km/h. Find the centripetal force acting on it .

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Data : m =2000 kg, 250 m, v = 90 km/h, ` = 90 xx 5/18 = 25 ` m/s
Centripetal force, ` F= (mv^(2))/r = (2000xx(25)^(2))/250 = 200 x 25 = 5000N`
