Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Chloroplast is a double membrane bound structure and it encloses colloidal matrix called stroma. Stroma contains enzymes ribosomes and circular, closed naked ring of DNA i.e. plastidome. Due to the presence of this DNA, chloroplast is said to be self replicating and semi-autonomous cell organelle.
