1. Pollination : The transfer of pollen grains from the anther to the stigma is called pollination.
2. Agents for pollination : The following are the two main agents for pollination:
1. Abiotic agents: Physical factors such as wind and water which help in the transfer of pollen grains from the anther to the stigma are abiotic agents of pollination.
2. Biotic agents: Living organisms such as insects, birds, bats, etc. which help in the transfer of pollen grains from the anther to the stigma are called biotic agents.
