What are the measures of prevention and control of the drugs ?

Explanation

(1) As far as drugs are concerned the strategy of "prevention is better than cure" should be adopted.
(2) Habits such as smoking, taking drug or alcohol are more likely to be taken up at a vulnerable age during adolescence.
(3) Measures and prevention :
(i) Avoiding undue parental pressure.
(ii) Close watch on the peer pressure.
(iii) Education and counselling of the adolescents helping him/her to face problems and stresses, and to accept disappointments and failures as a part of life.
(iv) The youth's energy should be channelised into healthy pursuits like sports, reading, music, yoga and other extracurricular activities.
