Data :' ` P_(1) = 50 W, P_(2) = 60 W, V =220 V, I = ?`
` I = P/V`
` P = VI therefore I_(1) = P_(1)/V and I_(2) = P_(2)/V`
Current in the main conductor, ` I= I_(1) + I_(2) ` ( parallel connection )
`P_(1)/V+ P_(2)/V = (P_(1)+P_(2))/V = ( 50 W + 60 W)/( 220 V) = 110/220 A = 1/2 A`
= 0.5 A
