Let `f:R to R` be a function which satisfies
`f(x)=int_(0)^(x) f(t) dt`.Then the value of f(In5), is

A

5

B

0

C

1

D

-5

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The correct Answer is:
B

We have, `f(x)=overset(x)underset(0)int f(t)dt`
Differentiating both sides w.r. to x, we get
`f'(x)=f(x)rArr(f'(x))/(f(x))=1`
Integrating both sides w.r. get
log f(x)=x+log C
`rArr f(x)=C e^(x) " "`........(i)
`rArr f(0)=C rArr C=0 " "[:' f(0)=overset(0)underset(0)int f(t) dt=0]`
Putting C=0 in (i), we get
f(x)=0 or all x
`rArr f(In)=0`
