We have
`f(x)=sin^(-1)""x^2 rArr f'(x) = (2x)/(sqrt(1-x^4))`
`therefore f(x) =0 rArr x=0`
Now
`f(-1/sqrt(2))=sin^(-1)""1/2=pi/6,f(1/sqrt(2))=sin ^(-1)1/2=pi/6,`
and `f(0)= sin^(-1)(0)=0`
Hence , the greatest value is `pi/6`
