The correct Answer is:
C

Given , S `= G/S"…"(i)`
As, `S = (G)/(n- 1) "…"(ii)`
Comparing Eqs. (i) and (ii), we get
`G/S = G/(n-1)`
`:. 8 = n - 1`
`:. n = 8 + 1 = 9`
Since, the range of galvanometer is increased by nine times, therefore its sensitivity reduce to `1/9`.
`:. S' = S/9`
