Sandmeyer's reaction : Replacement of diazonium group by chloride or bromide using cuprous (I) salts is called Sandmeyer's reaction.
Diazonium salt when treated with cuprous chloride gives chlorobenzene and with cuprous bromide it gives bromobenzene :
