before an arrangement of two mirrors as shown in
figure. Find the magnitude of velocity of image in
mirror `M_1` with respect to image in mirror `M_(2)`

The correct Answer is:
D

Using the same concept used in above problem, we have
to find magnitude of relative velocity between
`v_(I)_(1)` and `v_(I)_(2)`.The angle between these two vectors is
`2 theta`
Hence `v_r=v_(I)_(1)-v_(I)_(2)`
`|v_r|=|v_(I)_(1)-v_(I)_(2)|`
This is nothing but magnitude of subtration of two
velocity vectors of equal magnitudes v each and
angle between them equal to `2 theta`
.Hence`|v_(r)=sqrt(v^(2)+v^(2)=2(v)(v) cos 2 theta)` Solving these two equations ,we get
` |v_(2)=2 v sin theta`.
