A rolling body of mass `m` and radius `R` is rolling on a rough surface without any pulling force as shown in figure. What happens when it enters on a smooth surface?

The pulling force `F` is not acting i.e, `F=0`.
When body is rolling on the rough surface on friction force acts in this case.
When the body enters the smooth surface. In this case, the linear speed `v_(0)` also remains constant. The body keeps on rolling on the smooth horizontal surface and the point of contact is stationary with respect to the surface.
