Two pieces of plasitic a full ring and a half ring, have the same radius and chage density. Which electric field at the center has the greater magnitude? Define your answer.

Electric field at the center of the full ring will be zero. Because filed at center due to some element will be canceled by the opposite element of same length. But in half ring. There will be a net field at the center of the ring. So field due to half ring has greater magnitude.
