`NaHCO_(3)` and `NaOH` cannot exist together in solution. Why ?

`NaHCO_(3)` is an acid slt, while NaOH is a strong base, and that is why they react as follows:
`NaHCO_(3)rarr NaOH rarr Na_(2)CO_(3)+H_(2)O`
that is why `NaHCO_(3)` and `NaOH` cannot exist together in solution.
