ii. `NH_(2)^(Θ)` withdraws acidic H (form active methylene group) of `Cl-CH_(2)COOC_(2)H_(5)` to form `ClCH^(Θ)COOC_(2)H_(5)` and combines with `PhCOCH_(3)` which undergoes cyclisation and gives (B).
`NaNH_(2)+ClCH_(2)H_(5)rarr ClCH^(Θ)COOC_(2)H_(5)+NH_(3)`

iii. It is similar to (ii) except that `BuO^(Θ)` withdraws acidic H.
