Resolve the following into partial fractions. `(x+4)/((x^(2)-4)(x+1))`

`(x+4)/((x^(2)-4)(x+1))= A/(x+1) + B / (x+2) + C/(x-2)`
Multiplying with `(x^(2)-4)(x+1)`
`x + 4 = A (x^(2)-4)+B(x+1) (x-2)`
`+ C(x+1) (x+2) `
`x=-1rArr 3 = A(1-4) = - 3A rArr A = -1 `
` x =-2 rArr 2 = B (-2+1) (-2-2)`
` = 4B rArr B = + 2/4 = 1/2`
`x = 2 rArr 6 = C (2 + 1) (2+2)`
`= 12CrArr C = 1/2`
` therefore (x+4)/((x^(2)-4)(x+1))= 1/(x+1) + 1 / (x(x+2)) + 1/(x(x-2))`
