The correct Answer is:
`-1,-5` are the roots of the given quadratic equation.

`x^(2)+6x+5=0`
Comparing with `ax^(2)+bx+c=0,a=1,b=6,c=5`
`b^(2)-4ac=(6)^(2)-4(1)(5)=36-20=16`
`x=(-bpmsqrt(b^(2)-4ac))/(=(-6pmsqrt16)/(2xx1))`
`=(-6pm4)/(2)`
`:.x=(-6+4)/(2)orx=(-6-4)/(2)`
`:.x=(-2)/(2)orx=(-10)/(2)`
`:.x=-1orx=-5`
