A mixture of nitrogen and hydrogen are initially in the molar ratio of `1:3` related equilibrium to form ammonia when `25%` of the material had reacted. If the total pressure of the system is `28 atm`, calculate the partial pressure of ammonia at the equilibrium.

The correct Answer is:
4

`{:(N_(2),+ 3H_(2),hArr,2NH_(3),),(a,,3a,0,):}`
`because 25%` of the material has reacted.
`:.` Total no. of moles at equilibrium
`= a-(a)/(4)+3a-(3a)/(4)+(2c)/(4)=(7a)/(2)`
Now partial pressure of ammonia at equilibrium
`= ("Mole of" NH_(3) xx "Total pressure")/("Total no. of moles")`
`P_(NH_(3)) = (2a//4)/((7a)/(2)) xx 28 = 4 atm`
