In Brownian movement, what should be the typical size of suspended particles and why ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The typical size of suspended particles should be `~= 10^(-6)m`. If the size is too large, paricles would not move due to large inertia. If the size is too small, net momentum imparted to the suspended particle due to bambardment of neighbouring particles would be zero.
