If a hollow pipe passes across the diameter of earth, then what changes takes place in the velocity and acceleration of a ball dropped in the pipe?

The ball droppped in the pipe will execute SHM with centre of earth as mean position. The velocity of the ball is maximum at the centre of earth and minimum on the surface of earth and acceleration of the ball is maximum on earth's surface and minimum at the centre of earth.
