If you were driving a car, what type of mirror would you prefer to use for observing traffic at your back ?

For observing traffic at our back, er prefer to use a convex mirror. This is because a convex mirror has a much larger field of view than a plane mirror or a concave mirror.
Also, the nature of the image formed does no change with changing distance of the object. It is always virtual, erect and smaller.
