The correct Answer is:
8 cm

`f = + 40 cm, u = + 10 cm, v = ?`
`(1)/(v)=(1)/(f)+(1)/(u)=(1)/(40)+(1)/(10)=(5)/(40)=(1)/(8)`
`v = 8 cm`.
