The correct Answer is:
A

Let the resistance of shorter part MN be x.
Then resistance of longer part is `(20-x)Omega`
`R_(eq)=((20-x)x)/(20-x+x)=1.8Omega`
solving we get `x=2Omega`
So length of shorter part `=2m`
