When a sample of `N_(2)` gas is passed through a liquid (`N_(2)` is insoluble in the liquid) part of the liquid vaporises and these vapors are carride off with the `N_(2)` gas. It ws found that under identical conditions of `T` & `P`, vapour density of wet `N_(2)` is higher than that of dry `N_(2)`.
Liquid through which `N_(2)` gas was passed can be [assume `N_(2)` to be insoluble in all]:

A

`C_(6)H_(5)OH`

B

`CHCl_(3)`

C

`C_(2)H_(5)OH`

D

`H_(2)O`

How do we get pure N_(2) gas

As a gas (insoluable in liquid) is bubbled throuogh a liquid part of the liquid vapories and these vapours are carried off with the gas. As a sample of dry nitrogen gas is bubble through a liquid, it is found that under identical conditions of temperature and pressure, definite volume of wet nitrogen gas weighs more than the equal volume of dry nitrogen gas. Hence, the liquid through which dry nitrogen gas was passed, may be:

If N_(2) gas is dissolved in the blood, it causes

One litre of N_(2) and 7//8 litre of O_(2) under identical conditions of P and T are mixed. The amount of gases present in mixutre show:
