Show that the wavelength of a 150 g rubber ball moving wiith a velocity 50m `sec ^(-1)` is short enough to be observed-

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

`therefore` `lambda=(h)/(mv)`
Given `v=50 m sec^(-1)`
`50xx10^(2)cm sec^(-)`, `m=150g`
`lambda=(6.62xx10^(-27))/(150xx50xx10^(2))=8.83xx10^(-33)`cm
The wavelenght is much lesser than that of visible region and thus it will not be visible .
