Calculate the number of gram-atom present in 2.1g of nitrogne and 0.23 g of sodium.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

One gram-atom of nitrogen means 14g of nitrogen.
`therefore` No. of g-atom of nitrogen means 14g of nitrogen.
`therefore` No. of g-atom present in 2.1g of nitrogen `=(2.1)/(14)=0.15`
Again, one g-atom of sodium means 23g of sodium.
`therefore` No. of g-atom present in 0.23g of `Na=(0.23)/(23)=0.01`
