State and explain Newton's `III` law of motion ?

Explanation

Statement : Action and Reaction forces are equal and opposite in direction.
Explanation : `(i)` A flying bird pushes column of air downwards while the bird gets the upward lift from the pushed air.
`(ii)` Consider a book lying on a table. The force of action will be exerted by the book on the table where as the force of reaction will be on the book. Without the reaction force, the force due to its own weight can not be experienced.
