Express average K.E. per molecule of two...

Express average K.E. per molecule of two gaseous mixtures?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The average K.E. per molecule of any gas whether monoatomic or diatomic or polyatomic gas is the same which is equal to `(3)/(2)K_(B)T`. The K.E. / molecule depednds only on the temperature but not on the nature of gas
Hence `KE_(1) : KE_(2) : : 1 : 1`.
