Why does the entropy of a gaseous systemm increase with the rise in temperature?

Due to large intermolecular distance and weak intermolecular forces, the molecules in a gas are able to move about freely. The motion of the molecules becomes more random and disordered with rise in temperature as the average speed of the molecules increases. now, the entropy of a system is a measure of the disorderliness of the constituent molecules. therefore, the entropy of a gas increases with the rise in temperature.
