A vessel at 1000K contains CO_2 with a pressure of 0.5 atm. Some of the CO_2 is converted into CO on the addition of graphite. If the total pressure at equilibrium is 0.8atm. The value of K is

A closed vessel of fixed volume is filled with 3.2g O_(2) at a pressure of P atm and at a temperature of TK. The container is then heated to a temperature of (T+30)K. to maintain the pressure of P atm inside the container at (T+30)K, a certain amount of gas is removed from the container. the gas removed is found to have a volume of 246 mL at 1 atm and 27^(@)C . calculate T.

In a closed container at P atm pressure N_2 and O_2 are present in equimolar quantities. If N_2 is taken out from that container then the pressure will be:

At a particular temperature and 0.50 atm pressure, NH_(3)(g) and some amount of solid NH_(4)HS are present in a closed container. Solid NH_(4)HS dissociates to give NH_(3)(g) and H_(2)S(g) . At equilibrium, the total pressure of the reaction-mixture is found to be 0.84 atm. find the value of equilibrium constant of this reaction at that temperature.

Some amount of gas at 27^@ is suddenly compressed to 8 times its initial pressure .If gamma = 1.5 Find out rise in temperature.
