Mention any two difference between an electrolytic cell and a galvanic cell.

(1) In electrolytic cell, electrical energy is converted into chemical energy, but in galvanic cell, chemical energy is converted into electrical energy.
(2) In electrolytic cell, cathode is the negative terminal and anode is the positive terminal. On the other hand, in galvanic cell, anode is the negative terminal and cathode is the positive terminal.
