What are biodegradable and non-biodegradable pollutants ?

Biodegradable pollutants are those which are decomposed by bacteria e.g., sewage, cow dung, fruit, vegetable etc.
Non-biodegradable pollutes are those which cannot be decomposed by bacteria.
e.g., mercury, aluminium, lead , copper, DDT etc.
