What will be the final concentration of ...

What will be the final concentration of solution when `2.0 "litre of" 3.0M` sugar solution and `3.0 "lite of" 2.5M` sugar solutions are mixed? If the solution is now diluted to `10"litre"` what molarity will it have?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The correct Answer is:
After mixing number of moles of sugar present `= 2xx 3+3 xx2.5 = 13.5`; final molarity `= (13.5)/(10)=1.35M`]
