The average size of an Indian face is `24xx16 cm^(2)`. Find the minimum size of a plane mirror required to see the face completely by :
(i) one eyed man
(ii) tow eyed man. (Distance between eyes is `=4 cm`)

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The correct Answer is:
(i) `12xx8 cm^(2)` (ii) `12xx6 cm^(2)`

`(24xx16)`
For height `(h)/(2)=(24)/(2)=12`
for width
(1) Single eyed person `(h)/(2)=(16)/(2)=8`
(2) Double eyed peron `(12)/(2)=6`
