The ratio between the values of cross product and dot product of two vectors is `1/sqrt(3)` . The angle between then is

A

`30^@`

B

`45^@`

C

`60^@`

D

`120^@`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The correct Answer is:
A

For `vecA and vecB`
`("value of cross product")/("value of dot product")=(AB sin theta)/(AB cos theta)=tan theta`
`because tan theta =1/sqrt(3) =tan 30^@`
Hence the angle between the two vectors , `theta =30^@` .
