`(2hati+hatj-hatk)` N force is acting on a body of 10 kg mass, if the body starts from rest, then after 20 sec what will be its velocity ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Acceleration ,
`veca=("force")/("mass")=(2hati+hatj-hatk)/(10) m*s^(-2)` = constant
So, the particle is moving with uniform acceleration After 20 s ,velocity,
`vecv=vecu+vecat=0+(2hati+hatj-hatk)/(10)*20=(4hati+2hatj-2hatk) m*s^(-1)`
Magnitude of the velocity ,
`v=sqrt(4^2+2^2+(-2)^2) =sqrt(24)=2sqrt(6)m*s^(-1)`
