If a particle travels with speed `v_1` during first half time interval and with speed `v_2` during second half time interval. Find its average speed during its journey.

`s_1 = v_1t and s_2 = v_2t`
Total distance = `s_1 +s_2 = (v_1 + v_2)t`

total time = `t+t = 2t` then `" "v_(av) = (s_1+ s_2)/(t+t) = ((v_1+v_2)t)/(2t)= (v_1+v_2)/(2)`
Note : - here `v_(av)` is arithmetic mean of two speeds.
