The correct Answer is:
B

Marks secured by Varun =x.
Marks secured by Rahul `=x^2`.
Given `x.x^2=729`.
`x^3=729`
`x^3=9^3`
`therefore x =9`
Marks securd by Varun `=x=9`
Marks secured by Rahul `=x^2=9^2=81`
Hence , the correct option is (b).
