How will photoelectric current through a photoelectric cell change on increasing the intensity of the light incident on the cell ?

On increasing the intensity of the light incident on the cell , the emitted number of photoelectrons increase.
Thus photoelectric current through cell also increases . But frequency of light must be greater than threshold frequency.
