Define elastic and inelastic collision....

Define elastic and inelastic collision.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

In any collision, if the total kinetic energy of the bodies before collision is equal to the total final kinetic energy of the bodies after collision, then it is called as clastic collision In any collision, if the total initial kinetic energy of the bodies before collision is not equal to the total final kinetic energy of the bodies after collision, then it is called as inclastic collision
