Explain, why the input resistance of a transistor is low and output resistance is high.

the collector base junction in a transistor is always reverse biased and charge concentration is very high . Due to this .However the emitter-base is forward biased due to which the charge concentration is less and even a slight change in the voltage across it will bring large change in emitter current.
