Coloured spectrum is seen when we look through a muslin cloth. Why ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

This shows the diffraction of light through a number of parallel slits. When white light (having a large number of wavelengths) passes through fine slits made by fine threads in muslin cloth, the diffraction of light is very much visible.
