Glomerular filtrate is that fluid which is formed by ultrafiltration across the filtering membrane of Bowman.s capsule, while urine is that liquid which is expelled out of body. Composition of urine is different from that of glomerular filtrate due to selective reabsorption of useful materials back into the blood capillaries and tubular secretion of creatine, hippuric acid, uric acid, `K^(+), H^(+)`, etc. into glomerular filtrate.
