Many proteins are secreted in their inactive form . This is also true to may toxic proteins produced by microorganisms. Explain how the mechanism is useful for the organism producing the toxin ?

Such inactive forms of toxins can get activated only at a particular pH, temperature etc. Bacteria producing them, due to this reason do not get killed.
