Gene expression can be controlled with the help of RNA. Explain the method with an example.

This can be done with RNA interference (RNA) technique by gene silencing. Here complementary RNA to mRNA formed by gene is introduced in the cell, where this complementary RNA will bind to mRNA. Thus RNA becomes double stranded. It stops the step of translation. Example: In tomato, resistance to nematode (Meloidogyne incognita) has been developed by gene silencing technique.
