Why is the RuBisCo enzyme more appropriately called RUBP carboxylase-oxygenase and what important role does it play in photosynthesis ?

RuBisCo is the enzyme taking part in `C_3` and in` C_4` pathway enzyme required is PEP carboxylase. Enzyme RuBisCo acts as carboxylase and oxygenase under different `CO_2 :O_2` ratios. When CO, concentration is behaves as carboxylase.
